HOW WE CAN HELP YOU!

The Gracie Lee Haught Children's Memorial Fund is set up to help families who need assistance with the following programs.

CAR SEAT PROGRAM

Another way the Gracie Lee Haught Children’s Memorial Fund achieves it’s mission to promote and support the health, safety and well being of children in Rim Country is to ensure that all infants and toddlers are properly restrained in vehicles.  To that end, GLH sponsors an infant or toddler car seat program and will donate an infant or toddler car seat to any family in need of one.  Click here for more information.

BIKE HELMET PROGRAM:

Gracie Lee Haught Children’s Memorial Fund sponsors a Safety First Program in grades K-2 in the local grade schools.  There are two or three schools selected each year to participate in this program.  Bike helmets are distributed to students who complete the one hour course.

The programs main focus is on bicycle safety.  If your child is not participating in the Safety First Program in school this year and you cannot afford a bike helmet for your child, one will be provided to you by the GLH Children’s Memorial Fund.  Click here for more information.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS

Families who find themselves in crisis over children’s emergency medical bills have turned to the Gracie Lee Haught Children’s Memorial Fund for help during the last 4 years.

By the end of 2009, GLH has paid over $55,000 in emergency medical expenses.  Our mission is to assist families of children in need of medical assistance in Northern Gila County.

The fund is not designed for  on-going continued care, rather assists with sudden, unplanned crises.  If you or someone you know needs help, please contact us.  We may be able to assist.  Click here for more information.
